yes but what can I put on it myself without having to download them? (emulators?).

I'm also looking at the nokia n97 with the small d-pad which could be useful when gaming (or is it too small)?!

Droid runs emulators and the d-pad I would think would make it good for playing games. If you want newer games than iPhone would be the best because it has the most games. I really like RoboDefense on my Droid.

rep+ though because the video showed a guy running mario bros 3 on a tv through the phones tv out and he was using a wireless ps controller too. the controls were delayed as anything so the game wasn't to playable but I was very impressed none the less!!!

EDIT: I mean I can't get it on an upgrade, but i'm sure it would work on the network.

as stated the n900 had a delay but was impressive.

the jail break (or wahtever) iphone had bad controls. if you watch the guy just hits forward and mario continues to run. thanks for the video though.

but when skat said nesroid I found this video and if you watch it you'll see the controls seem solid and the games are playable so its a functional emulator!

The phone is definitely a hackers dream. They even have a PS3 Controller emulator for it.
