OCing Sapphire 5850 questions

Thread Starter
I followed the OC guide that is stickied. I saw that you can't change the core voltage. Do I need to flash my bios to do this? If so, how?

I believe so. Theres a program called ATI flash and TPU has all the BIOS's. You need to flash it to an ASUS or MSI BIOS. Move ATI flash, and the BIOS file onto your formatted flash drive. Well..I don't remember the rest, theres a nice tutorial on these forums.

P.S. My MSI 5850 OC edition will be here Tuesday. I will be sure to post a BIOS for people to download.

Step-by-step guide using RBE:

Not to be taken lightly though - it can brick your card if you don't understand exactly what you're doing and take your time to read the guide thoroughly. I also recommend flashing using the DOS method, rather than from within Windows.
