Yep, used zip ties plus I had to take off a millimeter or two of plastic off the bottom of the pull fan. It was hitting my vreg heatsink (had to do the same with the s-flex). I didn't have a file so I used a kitchen knife.

I have some interesting news this morning.
If anyone doubts evga's costumer sevice and/or products
This all happened in about 20-25 minutes. last night "thursday" at around midnight.
Incredible of Jacob to deal with this at midnight on his time!

-Bodycount

Ok Jacob i haven't heard anything back from you or anyone for that manner.
I understand your a very busy man with trying to help alot of people but to be quite honest im getting a little angry. The problem i encountered has cost me a new $288.99 cpu and i would think that you and EVGA would show more interest in the absolutely unacceptable voltage spike i encountered. "To recap 1.23125v bios= 1.66 in windows" In my eyes fixing this is more important than making a bios to run a xeon in a classified for some OCN member and for sales.

As of now not one rep or tech has offered me any compensation at all or given me any reassurance that this problem has been logged, replicated or fixed. All i ever buy these days is EVGA and now im in the process of upgrading my video card from a 8800GT.

With no compansation for my loss and receiving no help or replies Do I leave evga?

E758 Rev.1.2 Bios 49 2nd board "Fry's 15 day Replacement"
i7 930 2nd cpu

Thanks
Chris

Hi, and sorry for the late response.

I have discussed with some engineers and we are pretty stumped as to why this is being caused, as of right now I think the best course of action is to get you off that particular board and swap with a Classified model that we pretest here with a 930.

If this is acceptable please let me know and I will arrange.

Just realized my Bio settings for my current overclock on the mainpage are not the correct ones. Those are the ones I posted when I was experiencing issues.

Correct Link should be :

Hi Jacob,

This sounds acceptable if i can get the piece of mind that my voltages are not running amok.
Is this a testing board in the lab or a new and tested board? How would this go about happening? Cross ship?, More downtime? or?
I have never had to send a EVGA board back so i'm lost. The way that it sits now is i need my cpu for work and such and don't feel comfortable walking away from cpu when powered on for more than a few minutes. running at stock but still have a eagle eye on voltages.

Thank you Jacob for your swift response and professionalism

Chris

-Jacob

It would be a new board, and tested.

I can do a cross shipment so I send you a new board first, if you would like to do this please let me know what the serial number on your current board is, also please register it.

sorry for the walls of text guys but i think some of you could appreciate this

I have been watching your thread over there...
I am glad to see it go well for you, I love my classified... even if it is my second one hahaha..
I have to think Tiger for replacing mine with no questions asked and not even having to take it to EVGA.

I told jacob he made 48 new friends over here. This is why i always buy EVGA or atleast end up with them in the end ALWAYS.

ROFL Andy
Its not that easy. I managed to find one hell of a brutal glitch. twice on two different boards two different bios and two different Rev. 1.1~1.2
and cooked my cpu with (1.23125v bios to 1.66v windows) go figure

what really sucks is it wasnt one of those glitches that i can say hey Andy try something out for me and see if it does it to you too!

emmm well NO! you nuts would have been the response. Which is understandable and why it was never asked.

but thanks guys i feel much better. No more kentucky fried chip unless i do it myself
