Well, I'm hoping the owner and I can strike out a deal. I need him to hold onto the car for a few days so I can find some time to fly out to Texas, take a look at it and most likely purchase it. Then, he needs to be willing to hold onto the car for a few days while I arrange for it to be transported back to California.

If I end up getting it, the first thing I do to all my cars is suspension. Swap out the stock suspension for KW Variant 2 coilovers. I plan on replacing some things here and there to get the car looking as new as possible, and maybe by the end of summer pick up a supercharger kit for it for about $5000. With that, I'd have around 360BHP with 300lbs of torque. Really close to the power output of my 335, but in a much more nimble setup!

That sounds like a killer setup. My buddy is in the process of putting a newer 5 series motor in his 01 5 series. He's having some issues cranking it now since the ECU and harness is not the same, but hopefully he'll get it cranked soon. With the setup I have now on my car I should be at about 340-350 @ 14psi of boost. I have a 1997 Eagle Talon TSi AWD

Best of luck to him. I use to work in automotive tuning (Sonic Motorsports this site is always under construction...lol) and I'm pretty familiar with the process of coding/recoding these newer BMWs. They are extremely finicky and require either AutoLogic or factory encoders to get it right, and even then its a pain! hahah

Yeah I helped out with the swap but I personally wouldn't have done it. He has a beemer guy that supposely will get it running, good luck! LOL

lol I'm rockin a 335i as well with a tune(chip) on 16-17psi, downpipes, cat back, and intercooler ;P They are very peppy hehe. I'm looking at getting a new m3 this next year, but not sure yet.

My buddy has a stickshift one with catback/chip/intercooler and it did 370whp. That's awesome if you ask me.

Ok I've been reading and reading and being patient about it but this is enough.

How the heck does everyone get 1t timings on thier 9-9-9-24 ram?? Is it because I bought Corsair DMX 1866? I mean it's only running at 1910 but it's timings are 9-9-9-24-88-2t. I put it on 1t and it won't even boot. WTH?? Anyone got a clue?
