How the heck does everyone get 1t timings on thier 9-9-9-24 ram?? Is it because I bought Corsair DMX 1866? I mean it's only running at 1910 but it's timings are 9-9-9-24-88-2t. I put it on 1t and it won't even boot. WTH?? Anyone got a clue?
you may have to loosen the timings to get it to run on 1t. i never tried setting mine manually, the auto option hits mine right on 1t

now if that doesnt work / help, i would check and see if others with identical setup have gotten theirs to run stable on 1t cl9.

thats about the best i can suggest mate

sry if that wasnt much of a help

a good readme is the oc guide's right here : OCN // (evga forum)

if you follow that readme/ guide, you will easily find a way to the 4 ghz.

if you have any questions that are not answered in there. feel free to ask for assistance

bios revision can be found out either a: on the bios post screen or b: with everest trial version

should both be pretty simple and step forward

Back to computers...

I just finished installing all the hardware in the i7 930 rig. I'm not going to boot it up tonight since I had a long day and I'm too lazy to set up an additional areaa with monitor/keyboard/mouse. I'll fire it up tomorrow hopefully and see what this 930 can do!

I'm getting pretty fast at putting these things together too, LOL

Well make sure you post some pics up after you get some rest ;P. I think my case is coming today which is a day early! I can't wait to get all this crap in my sig off my build table so I can start packing to move!!!

I have my vcore set to 1.27, vdroop is disabled. How come when i run prime 95 my voltage slowly raises itself to 1.30. 4.0 overclock on a 930

I figured out why I was getting high temps with my H50, I had it setup backwards......I set it up so air was being blown out of the case, as soon as I switched it to an intake my temps dropped drastically. idle 29c, load 62c

My setup does the same. Vdroop drops the vcore under load, remember that.
