Official EVGA X58 SLI/LE/Micro MB Owners Club - Page 150

Wish I could help you DoubleK with folding in virtualization. I've tried to fold -bigadv units about 4 times and can't seem to complete one. My system either freezes, reboots, or I lose the WU. And this is after I can pass 40+ runs of LinX and 12+ hours of Prime AND THEN bumping the VCore a notch from there.

I'm not even going to bother with -bigadv units for CC, I'd rather put up around 50k PPD than risk 70-75k

Up and running on my new EVGA SLI Micro Board! It is awesome! I love how many values are able to be monitored. Even HWMonitor has more...though I'm not sure I know what all of them are.

Which one is the NB and which is SB? (If it's even listed)

Attachment 153792

Here is the shot of CPU-Z showing I have the EVGA board
Attachment 153793
*(and how I need to update the BIOS, )

Northbridge temperatures can be monitored through Everest. HWMonitor won't show it. And if I remember right, there is no Southbridge temp read-out, but the SB doesn't really get that hot.

For the BIOS, go here:
http://www.evga.com/support/drivers/

Download the BIOS for your board, burn the ISO to a CD Rom, insert CD, reboot into the CD and follow the prompt. The whole thing should be under a 10 minute process.

^^Thanks. First I would have to swap out my BR Reader for a DVD writer. Not something I have laying around (actually it's in the computer next to me, but it's a pita to get that case apart)

My Micro has those also. Not sure the point of them yet. I guess I could just read the manual, but haven't had a chance yet.

they are at the same location on your board, and meant for direct voltage readout via a volt/multi meter. (mostly interesting for hardcore overclockers i think, nothing i would use.

thats the thing i followed worked like a charm
