idk where you got the info about the e758 from, but it needs to be updated
You're right. I know I saw that somewhere though...

Anyways, I wonder if you could run at x16/x16/x4 to utilize the full 36 PCI-E lanes of the X58 chip

Alright. I've had one of these SLI LE boards for a good three months now, running perfectly stable with my 920 at 4GHz. Then, just about a week ago, it turned itself off. Hasn't been able to boot since, not even at stock.

First thing I tried was reinstalling Windows, because it liked to hang in the boot screen. So, I figured it might be corrupt or something. Froze in the part where it says "Windows is now completing setup."

Didn't work.

Then, I pulled my HDD and put it in my other computer, made sure it was working right, did a low level format, then re-ran the error test. Came up clean both times, put it back in the LE box, attempted to reinstall Windows, froze in the same spot.

So, no go there.

Then I figured I'd swap out GPUs. I put in the 9800GTX+ from my main rig, which I know works, fired it up, at which point I noticed something in the POST screen.

"CMOS checksum error"

That's all it said, below all the normal stuff, which lead me to conclude that it is possibly this board causing my issues. Oh wise and knowing internet, what do you say?

Oh thanks wise one. lol

I was just seeing if we had anybody knowledgeable in that matter in here. I'm staying out of the FaH subforum until CC ends. Every new thread is either "We're ahead, keep pushing!" or "We're behind, keep pushing", and there are new ones that come up every 15 minutes.

I think you need to use the add button there at the bottom of the spreadsheet. Kinda a neat idea, really, takes a lot of stress off the OP.
