with idle temps of around 49c-55c. stock cooler and stock settings runs hotter than my stable OC of 4.00Ghz firstname.lastname@example.org vcore and +0mV vtt that equates to 1.25v vtt
Go figure huh..
my 8800GT runs 15-20c hotter and i can't fully clean out all the guck from the PCI-E slots that either wont fully dry or is white and crusty here's a pic of what i mean.
Pay close atten. to the tiny holes in the PCI-E slot.
I think come monday everything gets packed in a box and sent to corsair the thing is i cant confirm thus far if anything is wrong with the 930 being im not a electronics engineer in any way but i will say this. Anyone thats backs a non-conductive liquid is full of howwwie because i witnessed it first hand that when you have a video card sitting in a puddle of "non-conductive liquid" and watch the video cards temp sky-rocket passed 100c with the fan on 100% we have a problem.
On the lighter side of things when you put all my mishaps in order from the start...
I started this build with a RII2G a 920 and XMS3 corsair ram with a CM Hyper 212 or some crap
I now have a E760 a 930,CL8 Dominators and a H50 and haven't spent a dime extra. well maybe the difference in memory price.
with the H50 ending up being free "but not really HaHa" my little attempt at humor. The most one will get out of me till this is resolvedEdited by Bodycount - 5/17/10 at 4:08am
