I'm thinking about a step-up
EVGA X58 FTW3

Looks like it has a much better vreg cooler plus Sata III and USB 3.0.

OK, just checked I can't step up to it from the E758, yet...

Damn, I'm thinking about it myself. I just bought my E758 last week so I have some time. I just hope it becomes an option soon.

If you can afford the FTW3 (E768) get that. Otherwise you'll be fine with the E758 A1. Don't bother with TR since it's not any cheaper and you miss some stuff in the box and warranty is less.

It appears to have a lower profile vreg radiator. I am not sure how you equate that to cooling better. Without a fan it is unlikely.

Karma pointed me towards an Antec spotcool and although I could not fit it in to my case to directly cool the vreg radiator, I was left impressed with the amount of air that little fan moved. My guess is that you could easily knock 10c off for $15. Personally I think cooling the vreg is a non-issue until you want to go over 4ghz or do not want to run your central air all summer like me. I actually enjoy the "heat" until around 90f @ 50%rh.

The major difference is an upgrade to a USB 3.0 and SATA III controller. Also, from the appearance, it looks to have a better stock cooler (although lack of fan is questionable) and if you're watercooling anyways it doesn't matter. There has yet to be a test if this board clocks any better so not much we can say on that.

He probably got the links from EVGA forum. They were just posted 20 min. ago. One of those links isn't even live yet (Jacob's probably uploading as we speak type).
