Hows that 2.0 revision mobo? Is there anything different, you got to post pic's
The v2.0 what i have noticed so far is the extra NB heatpipe that is also connected to the SB I'm thinking this was EVGA's fix for the shipping damage caused by the large NB heatsink being jarred around idk. The only other thing i noticed was the smaller (Low profile chips) everywhere.

Yeah man, I owe you some pics since our last talk. I will try and take some pics but i think i might have to disassemble for that but hey like i said i owe you those pics. Battery charging.

I'm thinking of swaping out my new cpu out for my old one but i'm not sure if i have enough TIM for that. My new cpu will only reach 3.8 as opposed to the easy 4.0 of my old not like i care about 200Mhz but hey were OC'ers. that and the fact that i don't break the 1.29vcore on my OC's I'm sure they will do more but i'm by no means Rockafeller if you know what i mean.

And the 1st question i have not done any memtest on the dimm's as i don't know how to run that test yet but i will soon if the problem persist.

ok lemme get on those pics that you should see

And for what it's worth, if you just pop in sticks of DDR3 1600 memory and don't manually adjust the frequency, they will run at 1066 or 1333 (can't remember which one). You'll need to go in the BIOS, and set your timings and frequency to get your memory to run as advertised.
Yes I'm aware it needs to be set manually since it'll just run at 1066. My question is though since it says "1600+" does that mean I can run memory higher than DDR3 1600?

Just burn the memtest iso image to a disk and change bios to boot disk. The memtest will do the rest.

So back to my original question, what kind of memory are you trying to run? And to answer yours...

Yes, if memory is rated at 1600...it is possible to overclock it past 1600.
Yes, the X58 LE will run memory above 1600.

Looks great ritchwell and good god man get those dimm's on a antistatic bag

I bet you keep that plastic shielding on the front panel for awhile I know i would but of course i would take it off pretty quick. I myself am still trying to figure out how im going to aquire a 800D.

And boy corsair screwed up and sent me back all my parts before they replaced everything except my old motherboard so essentially i got a extra i7 system. And i demanded a GTX260sc in lieu of my 8800GT and 8600GTS and got it Still pissed though i want my damaged motherboard back they dont need it. with the old 6GB plus the new 6GB i have been having random blue screens though (Memory related) maybe because of the 12GB or water damage. anyway guys i dont want to bore you but the full story is pretty increadible. I just wanted to say whats up and i'm glad you guys are still around.
Jeeze man, can't believe you still haven't got your stuff situated yet. I've kinda been low key this past month (stopped folding). I've been picking up parts for the next rig which has ambitions to become a hackintosh. Only its' been a little tricky finding a i7 CPU/mobo combo from Frys that would be compatible with the whole Snow Leopard process.

Whatever is in my price range. I still have yet to actually get the proc most likely going with an i7 930. Any recommendations on memory would be welcomed looking to spend $200 max.

No man you misunderstood i got everything replaced and then some but i also got all my old parts back which equals a 2nd i7 system for free so to speak. all but the old classified motherboard. in other words all i need for a 2nd i7 is a mobo. They even sent me two H50's by mistake They sent me all the parts back by mistake

There's a little deal on Corsair memory right now, and it seems like everyone loves Corsair memory.
