Run right now to the for sale thread and grab that Classified for $295.00 (If its still available) and your set bud. You cant buy a better X58 evga board not counting SR-2

http://www.overclock.net/main-compon...6-core-i7.html

I would snatch it up right now being thats the final peice to my 2nd i7 system for backup i just dont have the cash right now

I've owned and tested in the X58 family a P6T,R2G,E758 and E760 of course the 760 wins hands down

Edit:

I think that may have been the best Advice/Hint i have ever given on OCN
and its still available

Psssht! Andy gimme 300 bucks Rockafeller

That board seems very nice but I can only vouch for what I can speak for. The E758 is a great board bro, can't go wrong with it.

I seem to be talking to myself... Regardless
The board i showed you has the NF200 chipset that will run at x16x16x16 its one of the only Classified boards that will (You may not be interested in Tri-sli but a fun fact if you will). They dont make them anymore and are LE's.

But anyway alot of you should read up on the voltage spikes that have happened with one micro and a couple of E758's. I was one of the e758's
(Enter a certain vcore voltage and get 2x that on windows load= cpu death)

Now that my Corsair escapade is over my full attention and fury is focused on my $288.98 loss for a cpu because of a faulty and unknown bios that shipped with 2 of my E758 boards.

Now to be on the safe side and have a leg to stand on (New purchase wise) i have suggested several times to members thinking about purchasing these said boards that they confirm that the bios shipped with the board is in the list of revisions of older bios on the EVGA website before they start to key in custom settings

Apologies if I'm being redundant (did a quick search), but do any of you have experience with these boards off the B-List?

http://www.evga.com/products/prodlist.asp?switch=20

The X58 SLI and SLI LE are both available at very sexy prices. I was pretty sure I was going to settle for an i7 860 build due to the $120-130 Gigabyte mobo that has all the bells and whistles with a comparative board for the i7-930 costing $230+ if not more. I'd like to pull the trigger for my basic i7 upgrade build--no SLI yet, just a new GTX 460 that may be SLI'd in the future.

Yes The sli

See above post

Even with the mishaps i would not sway from evga to go to gigabyte
just my P.O and experiance.

Ninja edit: I cant remember the members name off hand but we had a talk about the "Unknown bios" and his purchase of a B-stock board. He recieved it but has yet to get back to me on which bios shipped with the board.

The bios shipped with your new board is labeled on a tiny white sticker on the "clamshell" just left of the battery

Thanks but that info is over my head for now Speak english for the lamens in the back row! I just know i can kick the crap out of them and they just say Hi or how you doing? sexy things they are seriously though i love them always have. You wont catch me with OCZ,Patriot or Gskill . There are to many RMA's with others. (Speed? Well how long will it last at that speed or timings/Chips used?) This has been my experiance for many years so maybe i'm biased

Thank you though
