I flashed my BIOS using an old fashioned CD and it was straight forward for me. I can't imagine a DVD would behave any differently than a CD would though.

I'm sure it's fine to use a DVD, it just comes down to if you want to waste a DVD for such a small file.

I had my nvidia drivers crash today while playing Metro. Not sure if it's anything related to my voltages and the pci-e clock is on 100.

Can you revert back to old drivers to rule out the drivers being the issue?

Driver Sweeper, rebooted, installed 195 and they crashed during a LinX run.
