its easy to wc, i built my first custom loop last year july, was very happy i got into it. the cooling performance is unbeatable, pricing is rather for deep pockets if you want decent stuff, but it ll run wayyyy better then a h50

as for the oc so far, i got the same voltage then stock, just set it manually instead of having the board decide. and im pleased with my 67c max temps if i open the window i get 57 c max

folding at home 24/7 bigadv smp 7 stable haha

Oh wow nice job hitman. I'm glad the spot cool worked out for you.
I've come to love this little fan.
I'm really curious to see how much a water setup helps.

My Lapped True cools way better than my H50, the reason why i went with the h50 is that its quite and competes with the good aircoolers and my wife stop complaing about the noise from 2 ultra kaze push and pull in the bedroom...lol... I will change my sig to the spare so you can see what went into my spare computer which has the true. The bloodrage is my main sig rig that has the h50 it is at 4.0 1.28v but the temps at load is at highest 80C, with the true it was high as 55-60C. From what I read on my searches that it is normal who is pushing 4.0 on a h50, i have tried everything reseat many times with different configuration and push and pull, change TIM. This is all documented in the corsair h50 club...lol...

Im really thinking of trying my 1st water loop on the e758 but i need to get a better case. The Antec 900 is not ideal for watercooling.

i agree
u need a bigger case for water, the i7 like the cold, so i would suggest go at least with a fat dual or a mcr320qpk for rad wise
