or http://jab-tech.com/Scythe-Hard-Disk...r-pr-4247.html

or http://jab-tech.com/Nexus-Double-Twi...r-pr-4120.html

all three work great behind the scenes you wont need to paint anything

the nexxus is by far my favorite, as it takes up no space and wont even show anything pretty much. but to note one thing about it, dont use the screws they supply for hdd side mounting, they suck and you should use some regular hdd screws from your collection.

if you want a 3 in 3 device, with fan mount, that can easily be painted (for a cheap buck) grab the thermaltake icy cage, worked like a charm in my old cosmos s rig

memtest is worthless if it comes to clocks / frequency....

if you tested them at 1600 mhz on your sig rig (prime95 3hrs+), then your one of the lucky few. as you can probably see on ocz and evga and even on ocn, theres not too many ppl that got these sticks to run on the advertised speeds good grab then xD

First set of sticks gave me no problems. These fired up at 1600 mhz without a hitch, although I didn't run Prime on them.

I'll throw them in the sig rig tonight and Prime over the weekend just for some info. I really don't think they are as bad as people make them out to be, but I really don't know much! There seems to be some people who have problems, but not a horrendous amount, and I don't think they are as bad as OCZ's Obsidian or whatever it is.

if you go around the forums you can find more then enough people to report issues with ocz ram lately especially the ocz gold series for i7 platform is hit by the fact to not run on advertised speeds. was all i was trying to let you know, didnt know you had like a stockpile of them xD

im glad i switched to my tridents, as not one single stick in gskill history with my personal orders has been bad. and we are talking 60+ gbs in the last 12 month

I have these OCZ on my e758, was able to get it to 1600 running prime 95 12 hours and linx 20 runs on 4.2 but they are not at all good when you start to clock higher to get stable overclock. Definately need better ram to see what the chip can really do.

I buy by the Costco wholesale package!

On a serious note though. I'm hoping these new sticks really don't give me any issues. If they do, I'll take care of it if and when it happens. I just couldn't pass on it when I knew I had one set that worked for about $130.

Awesome, too bad the nexxus is out of stock right now Now I just have to figure out a way to mount some fans in front of them, while still keeping a stock/sleeper look.

Really appreciate you taking the time to show me these!

If anyone knows of any others let me know but currently this is my best bet.
Thx again!

If they do give you trouble and your willing to stick with OCZ I'd suggest the platinum series 1600. I have them currently and have not had any issues what so ever. Actually both sets have worked flawlessly so far for me (I have 2 6GB sets, total of 12GB) I've yet to hear anything negative about the Platinum series so I'd assume that is a good thing
