I've honestly not heard much about ram issues with this board. But I really haven't gone out and tried to read a bunch about it either since my RAM seems to be working fine.

And updated OP with all the new names info. LMK if I missed anyone.

K. So i made my setup identical to yours, Karma, and it BSOD's immediatly upon starting Prime. Tuned the ram timings back to CL 9, it lasts afew minutes before BSOD. I cut the speed back a little, then a little more, and eventually it came down to my current max of 3.8. And it was HOT, almost 80 per core according to Coretemp/E-leet, general CPU temp by E-leet was 71. OC'ing never was my strong suit, so since the only difference I can find in our systems that should have any affect is ram I'm not sure what would be causing it.
Hmm...
well I know that my timings are pretty low for what this ram is rated for, so that may be part of it.
Might check this post out, he describes the different BSOD's, and what they mean. Lots of times with the I7's the BSOD tells you what you need to adjust. So you might try for 4Ghz, and see what errors you get and adjust accordingly.
Also I found on my setup, anything more then 4.215(my 24/7 stable clock) I have to up the v-core and VTT both a good bit to make it even boot. Some chips obviously won't need that, but others will. So you might try adjusting the VTT/v-core and see if that helps.
And yeah, under load I'm barely over 80c with a TRUE that's got 2x good fans on it, so I think the S1283 might have a hard time keeping up. If you haven't already add another fan to it, see if that helps.

I had a 4.1 overclock going on IBT but it must have BSOD while I was sleeping. Ill be sure to try again later tonight when I get home from work.

Need to read some i7 overclocking info I have been winging it.

Hey Karma maybe you have a solution to this, after overclocking my system to 3.5GHz my games no longer function at proper frame rates (Proper as in not even up-to-par with the stock settings but lower, like 2-10fps max). Any ideas on what could be causing this? I have my IOH Vcore set to 1.25V as someone had suggested I try, but sadly I've had no luck. My videocard is completely stock in cooling and clock speeds.

@Karma 24/7 I run this, could probably get it lower but havn't really bothered dialing it in:

W3540:
Multi: 22x
Blk: 200mhz
QPI Link: 3590mhz
Vcore 1.32v
VTT: 1.3v
NB: 1.28v
QPI:1.25
PLL: 1.65v
Ratio: 2:8

I think I had something similar happen right when I first started OCing my setup. If I recall correctly it was something to do with the PCIe clock. If you notice my setting in the first post, I have upped my PCIe to 103Mhz. Might try that and see if that helps.
My other thought is maybe something with your ram timings being off? Or are you manually setting those?

I'll update the OP when I get back to my house. It's hard to edit large posts with the G1.

Try upping the Vcore a bit to 1.2v
