So basiclly its mount blocks, pump and rad temporally, dry fit and measure tubing and cut. take it all apart and put it back together outside the case and bleed it?

typically how long of letting it run is it considered leak proof or safe?

Gear mentioned in this thread:

Hey everyone. I am also a proud owner for the EVGA x58 SLI LE. I recently put together a quick newbie guide to overclock it with the i7 920 at 3.4ghz/3.6ghz. I am not sure if I posted it the right forum, but I just wanted to info any newcomer's to check it out and hopefully make their first overclock easier.

Hey Karma~Hitman, Can you post your bios template so i can fill in my settings and see what your using Karma to reach 4.3-4.4? I might have some things wrong being set to auto and with vDroop off who knows whats going on with some of them like QPI which we can't monitor yet afaik. This is my 6th i7 setup and im just now in the last two builds started to record it

Imagine how many good batches got by me not
knowing how to fine tune a i7 and the differences in batches, avg temps and so on.
I started with a 920 too. Damn!

Damn hitman, you suck!

Now I'm looking at cases and water loop parts to switch over even though my rig runs reasonably cool at 67c under load and is practically silent.

I'm trying to find a decent case with room for 2 radiators to run a loop for the CPU and mobo, and another loop for the GPU.

If I change to a water loop, I'm not going to be keeping the 5770

idk why, but im happy with my dual 5770s or actually i was happy with my single 5870 as well... either way, wc ing the gpu is just way to much of a waste in my personal opinion

The reference design fans are pretty loud though.
