Official EVGA X58 SLI/LE/Micro MB Owners Club - Page 90

I think Folding through VMware Player found an instability in my system that LinX and P95 didn't. I'm going to have to bump my voltage up to 1.211 tomorrow since my system blue screened and I can't WOL.

Body, you're running at a 20x multi?

Try running at 21, lowering your BCLK, and you may be able to drop the voltage a little bit.

surprisingly x20 is more stable than x21. I'll go try it out again

The 930 is suppose to be pretty similar to the 920 and I know I've read to stay away from even multipliers. Just a though!

Maybe you can bump your IOH/ICH VCore to 1.2v; QPI PLL VCore to 1.35; BCLK to 191-192 with a 21x multi. Then maybe try seeing if you can bring the CPU VCore down?

yep i read about that too but surprisingly enough x20 is more stable than x21 for me so far. The thing is if i set a cpu vcore in the 1.23v "1.23125v~1.23750v" range and boot into windows it will hit my cpu with over 1.6vThis has happened twice on two bios versions. It has to be below 1.23v or above 1.23v I can boot into windows with 1.18v-1.19v but nowhere near stable. At that vcore it passed one run of the cpu vantage test but never again.

Your Execute Disable Bit should be DISABLED by the way.

No luck

i went back to 201x20 for a min. @1.26v 1.32v load "running a prime blend passed 1024 79c high 74c low"
vreg 73c

so far i tried

191x21
ich/ioh 1.20v
qpi 1.35v
vcore 1.19v,1.21v.1.22v
skipped 1.20 because it gives me 1.41v

Stop codes..
