can a 6600le 256 128 bit unlock pipes?

hello everybody im getting a geforce 6600le evga in the mail any day now.is there anymore pipes on this one? its looks like the exact copy of the evga 6600. i could be wrong though. help if ya know thanks

There are no pipes to unlock, it's a 6600, 8 pipes.

hmm really, 6600 series should be 8? I was under the impression that a 6600le is like a 660 simply lower clocks. Ill try to find some info about it for you

thanks id really apreciate that. it looks like the first 6200s also the unlockable ones might just be those with a new name i hope. lol

yes it has 4 pipelines and is downclocked a bit

get rivatuner and try to unlock the extra 4 pipelines and maybe an other shader pipe...

some of them might be corrupt but usually the shader pipes are fine.

oh you have the card already? Unlock them in rivatuner run some games, no artifacts = success

no im tracking shipping from newegg its one stae over so itll be here tomorrow most likely. i just startded using riva on my 5200. yep im a overclocker now. by the way you guys think this is a good upgrade i know a 6600gt is better but im lucky to get this right now after x-mas and all(i got a gibson les paul for x-mas so i didnt want to press my luck with a vid card the wife can get testy after the holidays lol).
