I just reinstalled the modded drivers "install.cmd" and restarted. Fixed it. Sometimes i think it would have been easier to get a SLI capable motherboard lol

Your are so correct.... But i found it is a real pain in the butt to have to stay by the PC every time i turn it on to press F8. I found a program that does it for you so you don't have to waste you time sitting there on every boot pressing F8. Its called ReadyDriver Plus and its no longer made but i found a copy at http://www.speedguide.net/files/vista/Se...erPlus.exe.

Also i have attached a copy. Scanned it with three diffrent spyware and virus scanners all say clean...It presses F8 for you lol . Let me know what you think. At least we are out of test mode.

Also great article about disabling driver signing

http://www.freeotfe.org/docs/Main/im...er_signing.htm

mayby thats why it works for me. i always boot up with driver signing disabled. hit f8 when the sli is highlighted its the same as enter. then pick disable driver signing hit enter.

UPDATE: Out of curiosity i restarted my computer running everything i stated above without disabling driver signing and the result was the drivers were not working. i restarted it again and disabled driver signing like i normally do and they were working again.

I have latest nVidia drivers ant 1.5 patch.

With just that I had flickering problems.

After running that other patch, everything was fixed

What other patch? The old 1.2b? are you saying the 12b patch with no modded drivers is working with the new 280.26 drivers?

I think he's talking about the 280.26 modded drivers as the "other patch"...

So, I need help. I am running old drivers because newer ones don't work with the patch I have. I have slipatch 1.2 beta. I try to go to slipatch.com but seem the website is down. Where can I get the latest version of SLI patch and what nvidia drivers version does that work with without the extra driver hack? Should I uninstall my slipatch, the drivers, and then reinstall the latest 280 driver the WSQL and then the "driver patch" and then the latest SLIpatch (where do i get this as the website is down it seems)? I'm not very computer literate. Help!

On the first post of this thread. Download the SLIPatch 1.5b, 280.26 modded drivers.

Uninstall the 1.2b SLIPatch. Install the 280.26 WHQL drivers, restart, install SLIPatch 1.5b, restart, install 280.26 Modded drivers (double click install.cmd), restart. Done.
