Does licensing ring any bells? You know, there is a reason why some motherboards do not have SLI certification. Price! Adding SLI will increase their price ... to add SLI they need NVIDIA certification, which of course is not free. So showing how to make SLI work on a non sli motherboard is simply an act of piracy.
My mobo is only CFX certified. There is a BIOS out there that will make it SLI compatible but Gigabyte was very adamant about people using that BIOS on this model. If problems arise on the mobo, warranty will be voided. Once using a BIOS that is intended for a different mobo in a different price range you will breach the contract between you and the manufacturer.Edited by Wishmaker - 2/25/10 at 9:52am
