HOWTO: SLI on a non-SLI Motherboard (GTX5xx compatible 1.0 final released!) - Page 48

Im starting to suspect its probably coming from the windows update, my wife's pc just did it the night after my bsod meltdown. anyways I have a solution for my situation. just got a 1366 board w/ native sli,, no more patch for me in a few weeks, by then my rma fermi should be back. Im so stoked. Good luck to everyone else and tbh, getting an sli certified board is the best path to take or switch to amd/ati. Not to bash or diss the hack developers, kudos to them, I just got tired of dealing with the side-effects of this hack. peace everyone. btw any one interested, Im selling my sig rig cpu/mb/mb block/ram if any one is interested, pm me

Well I may have better news now.

It seems I needed to instal the ATI mobo chipset drivers after all. Once I did that Crysis decided to run flawlessly. The only problem I'm having w/Crysis atm is all the Hummer trucks are missing the rear wheels. IDK why but every one is missing the rear wheels for some darn reason.

So any way the SLI hack is back on for me after a bios update from 1.9 to 1.F and ATI chipset driver instal. I'm still on a Vanila OS atm and am afraid to run any OS updates.

Oh and I also update the 460 dirver to the WHQL 160.99 and SLi is still working. I have not tested any games that have PhysX yet and that will come all in due time.

Now I'll have to install BFBC2 and hope that I can transfer over my saved games folder w/o any issues so that I can continue my single player campaign. Then play it in MP online for some real SLi hack approval.

No one said it worked with GTS 450s. The newest card it supports is a GTX 460. Give the developer a while, he just got married!

I was able to play BFBC2 last night for a min just to test SLi and it worked ok. No glitches, flashing, or any other enomolies that would make game play unfavorable.

I still have to copy over my save games data folder and test SLi in my SP campaign.

Have you tried with sli bridge on? With 460s is a MUST with newest drivers, may be its the same way with 450s

Regards and good luck
Yup Sli bridge, but it does not work i already used this mod for 2 275's that i had but with the 450's i do not have the SLI option in NvCP

Guess you'll then may have to wait for new patch version, as Gah Duma said, Anatolimyk got married a few days ago, so we may not hear from him on a while, but surely when he comes back he will be able to help you
post #479 of 1985
hope so but i mainly fold so for games my GTX460 its good enough until the GTX580 is available
post #480 of 1985
