Okay it looks like there is a patch, but this one is not for the 580s, just thought I would post it though for anybody else maybe having issues.

Yes, you *have* to have an SLI Bridge or sli won't work/show up. At the least, my dual gtx 470's won't sli without it

as my first post on overclock.net i would like to report...

that i have successfully made this work with my rig setup in my sig.

i am using an SLi bridge as well...i made the LOL mistake of using the crossfire cable and raging when it blue screened...then the light bulb came on.

thanks to those that made this hack!
Has anyone tried 2 GTX460's on a Asus Crosshair IV Formula yet?
hey everyone, having troubles with the rig in my sig.

Now, i have yet to add the second card yet (not buying quite yet). i have drivers 257.15 and installed the patch, but Everest doesn't show the certification when i boot into the sli-patched OS.

what do i do?

edit- on the instructions, it says to put the file in a directory somewhere. what does this mean? i just downloaded the file and hit "run" from the "my downloads" folder. is that right?
