Ps. How do I know if my SLI bridge is working vs if it's using the PCI-E bus to communicate?
I am unfamiliar with those tools, but from what I'm reading krombuster is suppose to launch when you click the K button

New question. I got my SLI working now.
Is there anything wrong with running different clock speeds on the two cards?

My BFG card for some reason has errors at 729/1458/1242 but it has a setting of 720/1440/1242 also and runs fine at that speed.

My EVGA runs fine at 729/1458/1242 and it does not have the option for 720/1440/1242.

So when I set the clocks on BFG to 720/1440/1242 it set EVGA to 729/1458/1242 automatically and seems to be running fine.

Could this cause problems for me down the road?

run MSI afterburner...

and set the setting "synchronise GPUS"

and set the BFG as the primary card in Afterburner..

then they will both run at the 720/1440/1242 speed

there is no adantage of running a quicker clock on one card compared to another in SLI

i don't know if there is any issues with it...

but i can't see it working as well with the 2 card not being synchronised

Hi everyone! I have a Gigabyte P55A-UD3 mainboard and I tried installing this patch. The SLI enable did not show up in my nvidia control panel. When I restarted my pc it would not boot back up. I had to do a system restore since they really dont tell you how to reverse the patch install. Im kinda pc illiterate so I need things spelled out for me. If anybody could help me get this patch working plz pm me and ill get right back to ya. THANKS!

Hi hodgoes2001! Thanks for responding to my post. Yes, I have 2 7800GTX's with the sli bridge. A while back when I upgraded my pc some I bought a new processor and motherboard. What the tech salesman didnt tell me was the p55 board that i purchased didnt support sli. The mainboard I "upgraded" from did support sli. Thnx again if you can help me out. Ill provide any info you need in future posts.

So... you are using the 1.0 version of the SLI patch...

and you are using the latest version of the nvidia drivers

also make sure that your chipset drivers are up to date

available here

also temporary disable any antivirus software you are running when installing the patch
