HOWTO: SLI on a non-SLI Motherboard (GTX5xx compatible 1.0 final released!) - Page 80

@ Page 72 I think, I posted my results of the successful SLI hack.

Anyway, I was running version 258 of the ForceWare drivers, so I finally decided to get the new 266.58 drivers. I was too lazy to disable SLI in the NVIDIA control panel before uninstalling the patch, which resulted in Windows 7 not booting. I had to go into safe mode and sweep the NVIDIA drivers from there.

Once I was back into Windows normally, I installed the drivers. Rebooted and installed the SLI patch. Rebooted again, checked the control panel, and it's all back to normal.

So.. the latest drivers are fine, but this shall serve as a warning to anyone who doesn't disable SLI first lol

Didnt think it worked on mine, tried everything, then as a last resort of desperation i turned the SLI bridge around the other way and bam, it worked, happy days .

Do not use an Xfire bridge.

Keep playing with it, it worked on my system but only after with resetting the CMOS and repatching. Try a different BIOS, too. Strangely it works on mine despite the string not being patched either, according to Everest. This appears to be essentially a soft mod and I have no idea what exactly triggers the option becoming available in the nVidia control panel.

P67 officially has SLI support too, it just requires certain BIOS values to be changed for it to be hardware enabled, so it should in theory work

Well, one fresh install, and one bigadv unit gone...... still no sli. This is driving me crazy. I know p67 supports sli, not this board though, only crossfire.. so I have no settings to change in bios. Anyone with help, it's worth money to me.
