Question about my 3000+ overclock + PSU

Well, where to start.. yesterday I got a new PSU (see sig) and I figured it would be worth every cent of it. I also bought a new mobo which I could now get for only 30 euro.

It seems my pc is running hotter now, I wonder if that's because it needs to "burn in" (?). 43 idle, 55 at load. With the old mobo it was 38 idle, 52 load. I applied some fresh AS5 and used some CPU cleaner to remove the old thermal stuff.

One other thing I was wondering. I first booted up in 400 FSB as default (333 is default for the processor) using the pins on the mobo to set the FSB. When I first booted up into the BIOS it showed me that the 12v rail was giving me 12,225 - 12,325... isn't this too much? Anyway.. it was way too unstable so I set it back to 333 FSB using the pins. Am currently running 184x2 FSB stable with the temps mentioned above...any tips and answers to my questions greatly apreciated.

well Im no sempron king but with those temps are you are running a tad hot maybe? It depends on the ambient temps, if its a 40c day then you can expect that, have you got much airflow through the case, is the side off?

The ambient temp is around 20c. Airflow in the case, well I have no case fans but the PSU has 2 fans. And the side isn't off anymore.. I was testing with it for a few hours with the side off but it just gives the same temps.

Anyway questions remaining are:
- Does the cpu need to burn-in and I will I get lower temps later?
- Should I be worried about my PSU giving 12,325 on the 12v?
- Should I enable internal cache? (back-write?)

I dont think cpu's need a burn in at all, if it works first time and doesnt have a problem then it will be fine, I think the burn in could be just a first test to see if the cpu has any defects but nowadays they dont really need it at all, if ever, like your average car engine, they are built very well now and can pretty well be put to work with no running in at all. The 12 volt rail with that voltage will be fine, there is always a +\\- tolerance and that would be fine, not sure what the + would be but could be maybe 14v (a guess). As for the cache Im not too sure but would say YES, enable the cache. (not sure quite what you mean, dont have that optiion or its called something different) If you know what cache is then you will know its very important and helps out very much with performance.

Yes I know that's why I'm asking. In the BIOS is an option at "CPU performance" called "Enable internal cache" and there are 3 options, disable, write-back and something else I can't think of now.
