How To:Flash your 5850 Bios - Page 24

It is a bit loud, I can't blare my volume as much as I would like too most of the time(too go over the fan). I will be playing a game or 2 on Friday to work with this more, until then. If I have to keep it at this it won't be "great" but it is a lot better than stock for sure.
Although I can't say if it is what i want, as I am having alot of FPS spiking lately, OC or no OC even WOW & the FFXIV bench are spiking constantly, or should I say stuttering? Don't know what the cause is, putting the GFX settings to low doesn't help either.

EDIT: BTW, the stuttering I speak of is during screen movement not character or monster type movement, just the camera.

you could have bought the cheapest pcie video card you could find if your motherboard didn't have onboard video... would have been less than 50 bucks im sure

Can this be reversed if it goes wrong? I have a spare nvidia card so if it goes wrong I can reverse the flash, by using my nvidia card in my second PCI slot right?
