Overclocking sempron?

Thread Starter
Can anyone help me as you can see i have a sempron 2800+ that i have got up from 1.6GHz to 1.88GHz simply by putting my fsb up to 235. Is this ok? There does not seem to be an option in my bios for the multiplier, I think my system is limited to what can be done. Any help highly appreciated.
Thanks!

Yeah thats a good overclock. In your bios is your mutltiplier grayed out? Search for an option that has choices like 8, 8.5,9,9.5,10. If you cant get any higher raise your voltage by 1, but just keep it below 1.6v. Also check your temps because your load should not be more than 55C. Good luck

The problem is i cant find any voltage settings that can be changed in my bios apart from 1 and that gives me the choice of normal or +0.1v. Ive looked every where for the multipliers, could the option be disabled? what is it likely to be under?
Thanks again

Run a 4:3 divider. Likely that would be "333" in your BIOS. Also what are your timings? try loosening em like from 2.5-3-4-8 to 2.5-4-4-8 or so.

Can you find an option like "Chipset"? It should be under there, just change some things to "manual".
