In line water temp? - Page 3

I like the Swiftech MCW55. Some people don't like them because they say they are difficult to mount, but they are thinking of the old MCW50....

the temp probe is kinda useless - the water tempereature is basically unimportant unless you're running a series of tests on waterblocks/water cooling parts for a review site

but IMO, and according to most other people, the danger den maze 4 w/ low profile acetal top is the #1 SLI GPU block out there (check link in sig for rankings of best water cooling parts)

This is a better motherboard (Best possible in my opinion):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...C-pr1c3grabb3r

Bad idea to get SLI 6800GTs. Get SLI 7800 GT for the same PRICE!:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130247

I don't understand what the problem is with that waterblock? It is designed to work with SLI.

Might try that one...

well you see its Evga and a friend of mine always buys evga and he said anything cheap from evga isnt high quality and besides how i already have one 6800 unless i dont mind keeping it in my older PC and go all out and buy 2 others but anyway how is the delux version of the premium better? can you get a better OC with it? and the only thing i dont understand are the expansion slots i guess you could say they are? what is the real purpose for them? i never could find the answer for that...

Your friend doesn't know what he is talking about... eVGA and XFX are very highly regarded companies. eVGA probably has the best warrenty around.

To tell you the truth, I would rather have 1 7800GT than 2 6800GT SLI. If you get the second 6800GT you next upgrade will mean you have to replace both of those. If you get the 7800GT you can always get another at a later time.

The difference is the chipset on the motherboards. One only has 2 PCIe x8 and the other is 2 PCIe x16... That means with the A8N-SLI Premium, you can only have a maximum of 16X on the PCIe. So if you have SLI, then each card is running at 8X. The A8N32-SLI Deluxe allows for 2 PCIe cards to run at 16x. Read about it at www.asus.com

If you are asking me why I haven't gotten one?
1. I have a Intel Processor
2. I have limited funding (I'm 16)
