When you buy watercoolers that cost the same as air coolers, of course you are not going to get better performance. You can call it what you want, but the Corsair H50, among the others in and around it's price range, ARE NOT WATER COOLING!!! Real water cooling systems consist of several different pieces, and typically cost $200+. The REAL water cooling systems are going to show load temps 10-20 degrees lower than any form of air cooling, or better yet, the wannabe watercoolers like the H50.
Also, if your pump goes, your CPU isn't going to fry. They are designed to shut off before damage is done.
