As an extension of our recent revamp of vendor and artisan programs has been the addition of a 'sponsored thread' system, which is designed to allow individuals the ability to post content that has been created with the help of a sponsor without being unfair to the other advertisers and companies that pay for the right to advertise and participate in our community on an official basis.
If you are posting content that contains sponsorship in any way, you are required to post this content as a 'sponsored thread'. Simply not disclosing sponsorship is not an option to preserve integrity of content and avoid undisclosed commercial interest.
How the changes work is simple: If you have a case mod, benchmark, folding farm, etc, etc that has been contributed to by sponsors, you are required to purchase access to our dedicated sponsored forums for a flat fee of $29 per thread. This is an effort to control the flow of commercially influenced (sponsored) content within the community's discussions. For frequent sponsored posters, blocks of 3 sponsored threads can be bought for $79 (all prices in USD, to be paid via PayPal).
