MCP350 vs MCP355 What is the difference?

Thread Starter
Hey I was thinking about running a dual loop in my rig and get rid of my D5 and go for the the XSPC Dual 5.25" Bay Reservoir for Dual Laing DDC. Now I can fill it with ether 2 MCP350s or 2 MCP355s. My question is:
1. Is the only difference between the 2 pumps the barb size?
2. If for 1. your answer is yes then really it wouldn't matter if I use ether correct?
2. What is the pressure difference between the D5 and the MCP350/355?
3. Also if you were running dual loops would you run CPU, MOSFETS, and NB/SB and GPU 2nd? or CPU 1st and MOSFETS, NB/SB and GPU for the 2nd?
4. I have 2 rads which one should I use for each loop? (I have a GTX240 and an RS360)

Any help would be great and +Rep for any helpful posts. Thanks
Also just for people asking why I am watercooling the NB/SB and MOSFETS its the EK full cover block and its that or air for cooling the MOBO. To be honest I don't think I will have the best airflow for air cooling it.

the mcp355 is better pump than mcp350 all around more flow more pressue 4500 rpm vs 3800 rpm

No, the 655 is a completely different animal than the 355, it's only a rebrand of the Laing D5; 355 is a rebrand fo the Laing DDC 3.2.

@OP: The 350 is just a less powerful 355. You can solder-mod it to perform like a 355 if you want.

How does one solder mod a 350 to become a 355? I'm thinking about getting a 350 as well.

Yea I am curious as well. I have the D5 now but with the room I have left in my case a dual loop would be a pain without an integrated pump and res

the new are supposed to be manafactured the exact same except
for a small bit of solder wich makes the mcp350 spin at the same rpm as the mcp355

the way to tell if you mad the pump is blue impeller

If you look at where the power meets the underside of the DDC, you just have to connect the 3rd and 4th pads to each other whoops, 4th and 5th it seems. I've performed this mod and determined the following: The 355 is a 350, just with little gain, a bit more heat, and a boatload of worthless noise.
