i just noticed that under my graphics card tab where you normally have all the application profiles, all mine are gone. There are none on the list and it only lets me use global for both. What should i do?

Did you install nView Manager...there are limitations to the standard drivers and you'll be able to access profiles when you install nView. At least that was the case with me. It's typically bundled with new drivers

I assume you are tryinto use Multi-Monitors

Well that wouldnt involve you to change the monitor to have differnet settings..when the game loads it loads the settings for that game thats the reason why there are video settings in games, so you dont have to do it prior to loading

I just dont see why he would need application profiles for a single monitor...whats the need for them, none, typically you would need profiles when running more than 1 monitor to turn off the secondary monitor so you didnt have to change the settings all the time before loading a new application.

He should reinstall the drivers thats a given but the question wasnt really clearly stated as to why he would need them anyway

Why dont you try to explain it if I'm missing what he's stating instead of being an ass about it

Because theres no point.
He was just gonna install new drivers.

But since you asked so politely.
Theres the option of configuring things such as aa, af, image quality, etc for individual games so that it overrides whatever options you choose in the game, not things to do with the monitor like res or refresh rates.
The things that you configure are profiles.
Each game has a profile.
There is a global profile so you can override the specific game profiles.

Any questions?
