20 or 24pin?

Thread Starter
My gigabyte board has a 24pin connector. But it has a small black cover over 4 of the holes to make it a 20pin. I read in the manual that I should only remove it if my PS doesn't suppose just 20pin. Would I see any stability gain by removing the cover and using the extra 4pin adapter my PS has? Because I pulled the plug up and looked to see if some sort of connector was there, which there is, and not just empty molex holes.

i have a gigabyte mobo for my new system. I have read up on the power connectors and it doesn't make ANY difference if you use 20 or 24 pin.
