It appears I have come to the right place.
It all started yesterday around 5am in the morning I was trying to play a game of Mine craft online and noticed that everything on my computer kept freezing. I decided to use a different computer to play this game online I then had the same problem.
I tested out something and switch cables back and fourth sprayed down my computers' and trouble shouted for hours I then decided that after switching cat 5e and cat6 cables around on all my systems that I would just switch Modems for now.
I had the same problem again?I then called the Comcast automated hotline and requested a refresh signal from the automated choices, after it stated that it was unable to send a refresh signal to my modem... I found this odd, for the last 4 years it was always able to send a refresh to my modem????I tried several times and it said the same thing.. (Weird)At this point my head felt like it would explode. I had no choice but to call the Friendly Comcast team that told me noting seemed wrong on there end and that my internet was in working condition with no problems. They were able to help me with sending a refresh and my internet wanted to do what it was suppose to do, but it looks like it wants to go 115 down/20 up (mbps) However once it starts to peek on the speedtest.net it takes a crap and it looks something like this 120 down/6 up (mbps) my upload isn't rising and usually my upload would be 16-22 upload mbps.
Here our the actual results 1. speedtest.net
I believe they are doing something suspicious maybe Throttling me because I sometimes like to upload my server for my friends to come on and play Mine Craft with me and if so I understand if they throttle my upload.
I just hope the reason behind this latency isn't because of oversubscribing? Please if anyone knows this problem help!Edited by vinilly - 11/26/13 at 1:40pm
