What do people know about this as a cooler.....

It looks pretty neat and smart but i have no idea how effective it would be with an overclocked 3200+ venice.

Cheers

I have just noticed that Timmay7 Wrote...

"i chose the zalman 9500 instead of the big typhoon. It works like a dream. I read another forum where a dude had a processor at idle 75C, it went down to like 40 with that. Its also not as big, and it has a external fan speed regulator (1337 )"

Is this true.....it comes with an external regulator aswel as bein ***** hot...or cool...yeah, ***** cool!

Check Zalmans website for reviews from different hardware websites. There are a lot of people who have had good experiences with them and others with less than stellar results.

There's better coolers for cheaper, but most buy it because they like the way it looks. Keep in mind though, you won't really even see the LED fan because it will be facing towards your drive bays, not towards your windowed case. It's a good cooler, but not the best. I think it'd be a little more popular if they dropped the price some. Looks only go so far...
