There you go, should be all set. How long have you had the drive? I run mine about one or 2 weeks only if I think about it, because it goes so fast I know that trim is working

Count me in! I have a G2 X-25M in my laptop. (have to run multiple VMs for my study). I must say that Ubuntu REALLY boots quickly on that thing, I still don't really believe it. Is proof really neccesary? I placed the SSD sticker over my Dell logo lol

Well at the moment proof is pointless since the thread is no longer not frequently maintained by the OP...

If it was frequently maintained, it would be necessary.

It was updated less than a week ago, but before that it took 3 months.

does this count as proof that I own an intel ssd. One is in my 4 year old intel core 2 duo macbook along a well deserved 4gb of ram upgraded from 1gb which makes it feel like a brand new machine. The other three i'm not sure yet. First I was gonna do 2 in a raid0 then my GF ended up getting me a third one for Xmas so I was thinking of putting the 3 of them in a raid0 array but after a bit of reading I don't like that trim isn't supported when the drives are setup in raid configs so I'm thinking of just installing one of them in my sig rig and see how it goes from there.

You need to read this...
http://www.anandtech.com/show/3618/i...m-g2-for-250/1
4x of them, crikey don't worry about no trim!?!*

There's ways to manage that....
If you're not too sure, plenty of folks with tips @xtremesystems or here too no doubt.

N.B.
I have a 2R0 of 2x x25-v and am very happy.

*Beyond 4x you usually start to run into bandwidth limitations of course.

Nice and Lego Duplo. I bought one for wife and two for myself (G. skill and Intel).
