Hey, I know I've posted in the psu forum quite a bit and have always been able to point someone in the direction of a quality psu... now, however, I'm in the market to build a budget system to put in the living room... TV tuner card so I can record tv...store some music and then play it over the stereo nothing too major.

I'm thinking about getting this case as it is a good deal and comes w/ a 350w psu. normally I'm thinking that's not enough, but here is the case
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129150

it comes w/ the smartpower 350w psu w/ dual 12v rails w/ 10a and 15a
http://www.antec.com/specs/SP350_spe.html

this is what will be in it:

mobo:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813136163
or
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813136152
or my Asus board if I can get a DFI expert
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131517

cpu - my cpu... i want to get either a 3700+ or an opty 148
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103535

RAM
512mb corsair vale RAM - have

video:
MSI 6600GT - have

hdd
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148105

TV tuner card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16815100113

DVD-RW - stealing on from my gaming rig to keep costs low

possibly a sb live 5.1 sound card

2-3 fans

Alright so since the psu is ATX2.0 and has the 24pin connector it should work. Plus Asus calls for a 350w (17a) or better psu for my mobo and 2 6600GT's Since this psu has a total of 25a on both rails and it will only have 1 6600GT I think it SHOULD work
http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?m...3&l2=15&l3=148

So what does everyone think? will it work?

well I decided to get that case w/ the 350w smartpower II in it... because this rig is going in the living room and the mini tower will be nicer than the other antec case I was looking at (it's a couple inches smaller) the case isn't tool less like the other one is, but oh well.

I also ordered a FSP 450w psu
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817104954
for the price you can't beat it... and dual 12v rails w/ 18a on each is good enough for me. that way I should be able to keep a slight oc on the cpu.

here's the final as to what's going in it:

3200+ venice core (from my current rig)
Asus A8N-SLI deluxe (from my current rig)
512mb Corsair value RAM (1x512... wish I had two for dual channel... but oh well...)
MSI 6600GT (one of my old ones when I ran SLI)
DVD-RW drive (from my current rig)
160gig SATAII hard drive
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148105
Sound Blaster Live! I got off ebay for 1 cent
and an ATI HDTV tv tuner card

I figure it'll be safer to have the 450w psu and I think I trust FSP more than Antec (even though I've never used either brand before...) and I'll have a psu that I can always sell or just keep laying around just in case.

thanks for the help
