New Build Critique - Page 2

Good choices aswell. I would rather go with a prolimatech megahalems though instead of the H50, A friend of mine has the H 50 and it has caused him nothing but issues...He may just have gotten one of the bad bunches. Good luck with your build. Everything seems like it should work out really well for you. I have never used an EVGA board, but Gigabyte is an excellent company to look at. All the systems I have built with Gigabyte boards are rock solid. As far as the SSD situation goes, they are really expensive right now. I love mine and my system boots up and starts applications ridiculously fast. I can't say its worth all the extra money I paid for it though... It is up to you, would you rather wait a few seconds for your programs to load, or have them pop straight up? Also something to keep in mind is that I have a 128gb SSD with my OS on it. It has filled up really fast. Good luck with your builD!

Ok, I've decided to just get the 30gb ocz vertex SSD for a boot drive.

So I was just looking over all of my parts to make sure I'm getting what I need and I was wondering if there are any MAJOR differences between the EVGA x58 SLI and x58 LE. I know the LE loses one of the ethernet ports, IDE support, and some of the USBs are located elsewhere, but are there any other differences that will impact the temperatures inside my case or performance compared to the regular x58 SLI? I plan on overclocking my i7 920 hopefully to around 4.0ghz.
