i love my blacklines, they oc well but mine dont want to go past 900MHz. mine are 1066 ram so yours should hit at least 1333.

getting my C2D to the current GHz i have it at was a piece of cake. i cant go any further but its not the rams fault..cpu just dosent want to do it

I would go with the Blacklines because i love Muskin's rams. They're always top-notch quality ram and it would give u easier OC imo.

I would go with the Doms. I was in your spot deciding on redlines or doms, and I went with doms, just because Corsair is an excellent company the success rate and reliablity of their products is outstanding and unparalleled. Also Most Dom kits can be overclocked,or can have their timings loosened to those of mushkins ultra low timings. Corsair for the win my friend.

Muskin makes very high quality rams AFAIK. The Doms are good too but if i was in ur situation, i would get the Muskin (my opinion).

I thought Intel said not to use ram over 1.6V on the i5's and i7's..

Mushkin are better than the Corsairs in my opinion (they use Elpida Japanese chips), but the G.Skills in the link above are at lower voltage and within Intel recommendations.

The standard voltage is 1.5 with a max of 1.65. I think that's what Intel specifications say. The main reason why, and feel to correct me if I'm wrong, is that the faster your ram gets, the more voltage you need to pump in, and the more vtt voltage you need for the IMC on your CPU. Which then generates a lot of heat that is fairly hard to handle on simple air cooling.
