Just stop hal its not worth the argument lol. these people just arent gonna listen

@hal some areas have different terminology for elementary and high school. In my school district k-8 have often been called elementary, and are even located on the same campus with classes next to each other. While the private school i went to called k-6 elementary and 7-8 middle school and 9-12 high school.

That's crazy. Elementary school is from K-5th Grade here, and then 6-8th is Junior High, and 9-12th is High School.

Well Idk we only had 100 kids tops in the whole school I remember the year they got there record of 100 kids they had a party had us make 100 and took an aerial shot.

And if you read I don't think there is anything wrong with 15 year old's working I just still consider 15 to be a kid

I was working at that age, but not 60 hours a week It wasn't a hard job...busboy/oyster bar at a 4 star restaraunt.
I've read some really bad things about Apple and the Foxconn factories in China. It's basically a walled in self-sustaining city, and it's brutal.

I don't see how this is child labor. Let's assume she's 16 (she looks to be 15-16). In Ontario, you could drop out of school and get a full time job at a factory is you wished. I'm sure there are MANY people who have dropped out of high school at 16 and got full time jobs. Guys, she's not 8 and she's not working in a dirty hut.

IF the kids they found working were 9, then thats a whole another story. I was working fast food at 15, and it was voluntary, cause afterschool life sucked!
Those kids are better off working anyway. They'll learn more from that than from being in school.

Ok. Guys.. I hate to point this out but, I'll try.

I hate apple. Many reasons. I would love to personally kick steve jobs ass.

With that said.. *****ing about child labor is pointless and idiotic. We have adults who work 80+ hours to survive and feed their familes in america.

Corperations get away with some real bull****.

You wanna hate apple? go right head. But, reality check. Odds are we *all* have more crap in our homes than we would like that was made by underage (12 and under) workers.

Argue what you want about age difference.. a human being is a human being.

I've never been a supporter of Apple software or products, but this is ridiculous.

One of the reasons why I dislike this board is because of pretentious bigotry and this thread is prime example of just that.

People fail to investigate their own ignorance which makes them stupid in my opinion.

You claim to be so intelligent yet you're being manipulated by semantics? Semantics that could be cured by simply clicking the link and reading its content. This is one of the biggest misnomers I've ever witnessed.
