From this...

To this... please check the here for more pics

That first time I built my own pc for gaming I immediately painted it black w/o knowing whats the proper way to do it. No primer, no sanding...nothing. fairly enough I was happy with it until I saw the other modded Haf 932s. I was embarrased on what my pc look liked so i decided to re-mod it again. This is my case that im gonna re-mod...ugly as hell

after removing all of the parts, this is what it looked like. Its hideous After reading a lot on how to spray paint, I needed to remove the old paint first. My attempt to look for a sandblaster ended in fail which leaves me to sand the case with lots of "elbow grease"...at this point being a lazy a** myself I was convinced that I need to buy another case but since money is an issue for me, I took the long road...

So then I started...(this is the only pic I had when I sanded my case, too freaking busy scrubbing the old paint and tooooo tired to take photos) btw unriveting the case was fun was my 1st time.

after 3 weeks (busy at work) of scrubbing, scraping, sweating, cutting a few fingers, muscle aches and more sweating at last it was finished. I bought a cheap dremel knock off and tested it by cutting a hole for the 24pin cable (also first time to use a dremel) it was fun seeing the sparks but the noise it made caused my neighbors yelling (I live in an apartment)

after epic sanding comes the cutting part...Im basically the type of guy thats only knows how to use a screw and hammer...dremels, jigsaws and other stuff like that is totally alien for me...but there's youtube videos so I started to learn from there. Here's the outcome

I wanted to maximize the airflow so i removed the middle part of the hdd holder to let more air to pass through...looks nice

I didn't like meshed top panel and I haven't seen anybody do this to a haf932 so I decided to cut away the mesh part to be replaced by clear acrylic. Plan was to leave a few mesh holes on the sides to screw the acrylic to but it proved to be difficult for a noob like me.

Also the 120mm grill needed some cutting...

So this is what it looks like outta case...I added another 275. why? cause sli looks cool and came a bit cheap.

I came up with a bit of cash working overtimes so I bought a few stuffs for my case mod

-Dampening foam
-6 Coolermaster 2000rpm RED LED fans
-Zalman MCF1 (wanted to buy sycthe or lamptron but I have the MCF2 and was not available that time)
-5 dust filters RED of course
-3 Black sata cables
-Red anodized thumbscrews
-Assorted red molex and zipties (never got to use them)
-Air can (expensive )
-Brush
-Gelid rubber fan screws (why? cause I dont like screwing...fans )
-Some cheap cable sleeves BLACK and RED
-GTA IV and NFSU

I love your MOD!!!! + rep!

I have never been a real big fan of the half 932.....until now, it looks great. A couple questions, you talk about sound dampening foam, where did you put it?
and can you explain the PSU cover a little more, is it just mesh bent at a 90 degree angle.
And where are the dust filters, just the front fan? Again love what you did with it.
