Drill? - Page 2

Thread Starter
After looking at quite a few drills last night, I've decided to go with the Skil Li-Ion 18V. The skil did seem to offer more bang/buck. If it's sod awful I'm blaming you Flexibel.

Lol...

Nah, they are good tools. I generally like Skil and Craftman tools(The later is of course expensive as hell.) Hope it all works out for you... And this time, don't let it 'eat' your bit...

If you do get a re-chargeable drill (and plan to do some heavy work) then I would recommend an 18V offering, sadly it is unlikely that you will find such a rating for less than a C-bill. You might be able to find one used.

It is notable that Pawnshops may have decent units at a lowered price... and there is always the dreaded ebay.

On a side note, Bosch makes stellar tools.

Yes. It happened while I was passed out from a night of wild partying with Super Models....

...just thought I would toss in my "day late, dollar short"

Nope, Syrillian I saw you ride off last night. The rear wheel of your bike was rubbing from the load.

I think my Li-Ion should do well. I don't know that I'll have need for the 'oh snip' handle on the thing, but I guess it can't hurt.

It cannot usually hurt to have more features than you need.. only when you have less features is it really an issue... If push comes to shove you can always cut it off...
