Supposed to be ICH5R?

I have a asus p4c800-e deluxe and everywhere i look it says they have the ich5r southbridge with the 82801er controllers, yet when i check mine in device manager it shows the controller as 82801eb which is the ich5 southbridge. Are there versions of this board that have the ich5 or the ich5r? If not might anyone know what im doing wrong? I am just curious so I can reconfigure my raid array.

I believe the R on the ICH5R just indicates that it has RAID capabilities. I'm guessing that if you had RAID drivers installed, it would show it in the device manager. Other than the RAID functions, I believe those two SBs are the same.

Just wanted to say thanks Taeric. I have a usb keyboard and I could not get f6 to let me load the drivers so i scipped them the first time. After your post I went and remade my raid array and this time waited till the end of the windows setup and put the right drivers on now. Now it does show up correctly. My problem was just that I was not understanding that the only difference between the two SB's was just that one has the raid drivers installed the ICH5R while the other doesn't being just a ICH5. Thanks for your help man glad you got control of this part of the forum.
