Overclock memory AND cpu!!

Thread Starter
I have an 3700+ san diego, which I can overclock to a fully stable 2.86GHz, with a Vcore of 1.44, and a Vram of 2.7 (temps at 31 idle and 40 load). My Memory is 2GB Corsair PC4000 rated to run at 250Mhz with 3-4-4-8 timings. When I OC the CPU to 2.86GHZ the Memory is only stable at 239Mhz with 2T and 3-4-4-8 timings. When I try and run the Memory at a higher clock speed and/or 1T timing the system is unstable.
Is the only way to solve this to raise the voltages a lot, and therefore my temps?
Also I read somewhere that my A8N deluxe mobo can't handle 1T at higher than 240Mhz. Is this true?

could be true, check out the asus forums to find out what others are experiencing. Your memory should have no problems running 1T at 250 (default). Probably your motherboard not liking something. Try running 250 x 11 with no divider (1T).
