They arent even close dude.
Could you point out the operating system that seamlessly manages dual cores? ...you can't. If he's just into overclocking, as in clocking he'll want the processor that clocks higher. Point across?

What do you mean 'sponsor' lol? I can't even imagine someone dishing out like $2000 for someone else's computer.

EDIT: By the way Newegg.com is DOWN.

Can you more clearly describe how you are going about purchasing this computer and what it'll be used for?

your overclocking quest? just how much are they willing to sponsor? I mean if my local computer shop sponsored me for at least a 1k I would use it all on the Prometeia Mach II GT Cooler Unit. but anyways yeah I would stick with the Asus A8n32 mobo get something cheap like the 3700+ san diego chip and overclock the hell out of it, probably 3.2Ghz but then again anythings possible when your proccessor is -65C :-D

They got the reputation of the highest possible overclock, or at least a high one, also just say that you need two mobobs and two of the same processors and pass one too me .

Edit: I would go for phase change also, man thattle be one heck of a rig.

well to get someone (or company but unlikely) to sponsor you usually they will give you some items in return for you to sponsor their company. Maybe they want you to have a big banner or something that shows the company or logo. I mean they can get creative about it but when my friend got his car sponsored he had to put a big decal on the sides saying AUTO VENTSHADE. what they get out of it, maybe more sales.

and like the person above me said, reputation too

I disagree on the NeoHE reccomendation.
Go witht he PC Power and Cooling 600 Watt, or better yet; they sell a 1000Watt. Most stable power supply available.
