Well, bascily, I am looking for some help with the "build" of the computer, I need everything you need for a computer basicly, the case, the motherboard, the cpu, vidcard, etc. I tried myself, but I got badly twisted in budget boards and such.

The only thing that I ask is when someone is helping me out with the build list that they have 2 hard drives, 1 for windows xp itself, and then 1 slightly larger one for files (80gb+). I also am trying to do this for $700 give or take a few dollars.

It looks compatable, but the one I posted cost the same, and blows that one out of the water. The 6800GS will murder the X1300 Pro. The ASUS motherboard I recommended is a GREAT motherboard. Don't underestimate the importance of a good motherboard. Also, it would make more sense to get 2 of the same Harddrives and then just RAID0 them, you would get better performance. Or get a Raptor.

I would either pull the floppy out of a old drive.. Don't buy one. I have 4 spares ones. (I would ship you one, but shipping is 2 much....) You use a floppy rarely, so if you have 1 machine with a floppy in the house, then you can swap as necessary.

Bottom line, the system I put up is better. Your posted system doesn't even have a Power Supply!
