Alot of people (including me) stopped trusting the Inq but still......

http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/topic/53682/

Never heard of this site before and for some reason they say R580 will have 48 pixel pipes while most sources are saying 16, so I doubt they are too reliable lol.

Yeah, we all know that. But the R580 comes out in 3 days and G71 is almost a month away, so I figured while he wouldn't mind delaying his order 2 or 3 days, he might not want to wait a month, either way G71 should demolish the R580 in every respect IMO.

This is a sweet combo deal at Newegg, $100 dollar off combo deals:

FX-60 + a GTX:

4800+ and a GTX:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103544

But I've also heard that AMD's Athlon dual-cores are coming down in price next week.

Prices are beginning to drop at Monarch already:

$640 for a 4800+, pretty sweet to me.

Don't get an FX-57 just for gaming as someone said. In about a year, single core CPUs will be dead once everything begins to become multithreaded.
