I am running at 2.8 with 262fsb x11, with my memory at 2.5,3,2,7 205mhz and it's rock stable. I can get 3ghz with the fsb @264 and it does do everything but fails prime95 after several hours.

If you set the RAM to a high divider your OCing will effect the CPU and keep the RAM below it's speed that will effects it's stability. Doing that and testing for stability will give you the highest known stable CPU OC!
Then adjust the RAM to it's best highest stable OC with the divider.
To find the RAMs highest stable OC reduce the CPU "x" to 7x so the increases in the HTT will essentially work the RAM and keep the CPU in check.
Having the highest known stability of those components will further you OCing with less difficulty.
Then put the values you have attained in Gogars
You will see the effects of timing, multiplyers, HTT, and RAM dividers.... note the last colume of "lower is better" being a representation of the sustems overall effeciency.

You should also increase the LDT voltage to help stablize the RAM!
EDIT...
A great guide for you too!!!

try these numbers, your memory will be running 200mhz, so it should work no problem....also set your command rate to 1T. And also only use 2 sticks in dual channel, not 3....for testing..

255 x 11
HTT x 3 or 4........try 4 first..
Vcore 1.6
Memory timings auto
Memory voltage 2.7
Memory divider 166 (333)

Only raise your voltage if you are unstable....run prime to see if it is. IF it is unstable, raise vcore in very small increments to gain stability.
As always, watch your temps with the increased vcore.

I'm happy to hear you are oc'n higher...but my mind isn't working well tonight...problems with system earlier today, but fixed...
If you dont regret getting an opteron, dont look at the numbers I'm putting up in benchmarks ...anyways, these days sandiegos are cheaper....Keep tweaking your bios for different possibilities, and tomorrow I will come back and mess with settings.
