ASUS Premium A8N SLI
Ultra Xfinitiy 600W PSU
OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Platinum System Memory - Timing 2-3-2-5

Koolance Aquian 505 internal water cooling
Thermaltake Armor Case

Not bad Specs,

I have similar specs, and i can get it to 2609/Mhz per core stable but not any higher so far. Im trying to get it past 2700 but it's failing Prime95.

The best thing to do is read overclock guides to become familiar with what settings to change in your bios. I will try to get you to 2.6 to start with.
Input these numbers. It should work if done correctly

260 x 10
HTT x 3 or 4......try 4 first
Vcore (cpu voltage) 1.55
Memory timings default 2-3-2-5 1T
Memory voltage 2.7
Memory divider 333 (166)

The OC tytlyf posted should work but you will probably need nowhere near 1.55 Vcore for a 2.6ghz OC on this chip. I OCed mine to 2750mhz without raising my Vcore over 1.475 on air cooling. Other people have been finding out the same thing about their 4400+'s. For some reason the 4400+ doesnt need much Vcore to OC.

I would keep most of his settings except the Vcore and DDR voltage. If your at 260fsb and a 333 divider your RAM will only be at around 215 or so wich is not realy OCed at all. You can probably tighten the timing even more and actualy lower the voltage on the ram to 2.65 or so. Put the timings at 2-2-2-5. Start your Vcore at 1.41 and try to prime95 it. If it wont prime keep bumping the vcore till it does but I think 1.41 should do it, 1.475 at the most.

hmmmm... interesting...
funny i have a amd x2 4400+ on a asus A8N32-SLI board and just using the AI Booster software i can get 2.85GHz stable. I upped the voltage to 1.4v and use a Zalman 9700 fan/heatsink. It's big but it works. The temp only went up 4C. Idle 42c. full load 46c.
