Need a little Help with 4400+

Thread Starter
I currently have my 4400+ running at 2607 stable, cpu volts 1.5, ddr 2.8, NB 1.55 and HTT 3, for some reason i cant get beyond this ( stable ) i get blue screened, system hangs etc... i have heard of people hitting 2.7 and even 2.8 stable with this cpu and no doubt i would like to as well
Cooling is not a problem ( pic attached ) currently cpu idle is 13 and load is between 18-21
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

( Memory is OCZ Gold XTC 3-4-3-8..currently running at 3-4-5-8 though..whys that ? sorry if this is a noob question )

make sure you set your memory timings manually, dont set them to auto.
It could be your memory that is holding you back, throw a divider on them to slow them down...that's probably the problem..that chip should do more than that....but you may need more vcore also.

its still a fridge, but my water cooling setup as well..

all i did was mount the rad outside of the fridge then run it in through the 30 feet or so of copper tubing straight out to the cpu block and back in etc etc, ive already built 3 more of these rigs and am in the process of patenting the idea, hopefully it takes off

i still use it as a fridge tho, as im to lazy to go to the kitchen to get my beer or coke.. so i store it in there, acctually helps keep the temps a little lower since coke or beer being liquid sustain cooler temps longer the air obviously, works very well

Thanks for the advice on the memory etc, ill have to try this out tomorrow
